Fellowship Scheme Awards

Saint John (NB) - January 14th, 2012 - Enovex is proud to announce the awarding of the prestigious Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research to two of the project's Product Developers. Shyamapada Nandi (PhD), and Aparna Banerjee (MSc) were both individually awarded a Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research in their specific fields, co-presented by the Union Minister for Science and Technology of India, S Jaipal Reddy and the Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, at the recently concluded Indian Science Congress at Kolkata

About the Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research - The Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme was designed to attract talent for Doctoral Research and to boost industrial research by academic institutions, the government and industry. Applications were invited from registered PhD fellows from the academic year of 2012 in areas of research of Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine. The fellowship will enable the continuation of research & development for a maximum period of four years on industry-relevant topics leading to the awarding of a PhD degree. The fellowship was jointly implemented by SERB & the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Tech companies get $1.75M investment

Enovex Technology Ltd., a clean technology company developing advanced gas separation materials, secured $1.1 million, GrowthWorks Atlantic's president and chief executive officer Thomas Hayes said during a news conference in Saint John.

"We are extremely pleased to be working with experienced local angel and seed investors to provide New Brunswick's emergency economy companies with the capital to commercialize and expand their business," said Hayes.
