Fellowship Scheme Awards
Saint John (NB) - January 14th, 2012 - Enovex is proud to announce the awarding of the prestigious Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research to two of the project's Product Developers. Shyamapada Nandi (PhD), and Aparna Banerjee (MSc) were both individually awarded a Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research in their specific fields, co-presented by the Union Minister for Science and Technology of India, S Jaipal Reddy and the Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, at the recently concluded Indian Science Congress at Kolkata
"These awards are in recognition of the dedication, passion and innovation Shyamapada and Aparna apply to both their field of study at IISER and their collective product development work with Enovex. Enovex has attracted world leaders in the field of molecular compounds, sorption technologies and adsorption processes and is honoured to have our project members recognized for both their accomplishments and future potential."
About Enovex - Enovex is a startup, based in Atlantic Canada, developing a new class of gas production adsorbents. These new molecular compounds will unlock a remarkable suite of possibilities for future technologies beyond gas separation and production. Enovex has partnered with the India Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) PUNE, for Research and Development.
About the Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme for Doctoral Research - The Prime Minister's Fellowship Scheme was designed to attract talent for Doctoral Research and to boost industrial research by academic institutions, the government and industry. Applications were invited from registered PhD fellows from the academic year of 2012 in areas of research of Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine. The fellowship will enable the continuation of research & development for a maximum period of four years on industry-relevant topics leading to the awarding of a PhD degree. The fellowship was jointly implemented by SERB & the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
